We are creating a series of tutorials on a PC compatible CD for families of chains. Each package contains a CD with the tutorials for the weaves of that family, copper jump rings for practicing each of the weaves, and a wealth of additional information for making chains. The CD is in the format of a web site that shows and describes each step for creating each weave. The CD also contains detailed directions for projects made from these weaves.
You need 2 pairs of jeweler's pliers to do the practice exercises packed in the CD case. I use a bent chain nose and a flat nose pliers. (See Tools.) I would also recommend using an Optivisor, or some other hands off magnifier, so you can see if you are closing the rings tight.
