We have tutorials available for most of the popular weaves. Each tutorial comes complete with detailed directions, jump rings, and any needed clasp or finding. The jump rings are base metal, either NuGold or copper. I prefer to use NuGold in the tutorials because it works like silver or gold filled, and is not as soft as copper. However, I have not yet found a good source for square or half round NuGold wire, so I use copper in the tutorials where square or half round wire is needed. Upon completing the tutorial you will have a complete, finished base metal project.
You need 2 pairs of jeweler's pliers to complete the project. I use a bent chain nose and a flat nose pliers. (See Tools.) I would also recommend using an Optivisor, or some other hands off magnifier, so you can see if you are closing the rings tight.
